The Challenging Period

As developers we are constantly exploring, pushing our knowledge, questioning what we are crafting and all too often confused as hell.

Thankfully during these times we have the ability to call on the community – countless articles, screencasts and open-sourced code to help. We can even easily call on the best of the best for their expertise via email, tweets or at meet ups.

During a challenging period it’s easy to just go “fuck it, this is bullshit” and make it someone else’s problem. But doing that is the easy option.

So next time you are totally demoralised, frustrated, confused, bamboozled, take a breath, reflect on how far you have come as a developer and step up to the challenge because that’s what being a developer is all about.
