Promoted Links

When I first stated the Web Design Weekly newsletter, I was very anti-advertising. I have touched on that before. But as time has gone by, I have come to the conclusion that if the newsletter is going to continue, I have to explore ways to support the running costs and fund my time. I hope you can understand.

Late last week, I decided to start work on a new advertising feature – Promoted links.

The reason for incorporating promoted links into the weekly email is to give companies and individuals the opportunity to promote their amazing service or product at a more affordable rate with the possibility of also providing a higher click through rate.

The main difference between a normal advertisement and a promoted link is that the promoted links are almost identical to the existing main link, just branded with bold “promoted” text on the right hand side.

The cost of a promoted link is a one off $79.

With over 8000+ subscribers and increasing by an average 200 subscribers every week, it works out to be an amazing opportunity.

So if you have a great product or service and would like to support Web Design Weekly, please consider heading over to the advertising page and submitting your promoted link.

Cheers,
Jake
